How long does an AI website builder take to generate a landing page?
Across 495 generation jobs run on Forgelo between 26 June and 26 September 2026, the median time from prompt to a complete landing page draft was 127 seconds (about 2 minutes). 90% of successful jobs finished within 296 seconds, and 78.8% of all jobs completed successfully (390 of 495).

70 successful jobs had no language recorded and a handful used other languages (es, pt, fr, tr, ar, it, fa), so they are left out of this table but included everywhere else.
Methodology
- Source: Forgelo's own production database, table generation_jobs. Each row is one request to generate a complete website draft from a text brief.
- Period: jobs created between 26 June 2026 and 26 September 2026. Data pulled on 28 September 2026.
- Sample: 495 finished jobs (390 completed, 105 failed). One job still running at pull time was excluded.
- Generation time: completed_at minus created_at, so it includes queue wait, not only model time. Failed jobs have no completion time and count only toward the success rate.
- We report percentiles instead of the mean because a few jobs were retried hours later, which drags the mean far away from what a typical user experiences.
Limitations
- This measures one product (Forgelo). It is not a benchmark of other AI builders, templates, freelancers, or agencies.
- It measures time to a first complete draft, not time to a published site on a custom domain. Editing, domain setup, and review time are not included.
- The underlying model and infrastructure changed during the period, which is one reason monthly medians differ.
- Brief length and complexity vary by user and are not controlled.
