Terms of Service

Who you are contracting with

Forgelo is operated by Creativism, a digital marketing agency based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Questions about these terms go to admin@mail.forgelo.com.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
• Give us accurate details and keep them current.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
• One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

What Forgelo does

You describe a business, and Forgelo generates a website. You can then edit any section by typing what you want changed, publish the site on a Forgelo subdomain, or connect your own domain.

Each plan includes a daily limit for AI actions, where one action is one generation or one edit by prompt. The current limit for each plan is shown on the Pricing page. Daily limits keep capacity fair between customers and reset automatically. We may rate limit or pause generation on an account that is consuming capacity far beyond normal use, and we will tell you if we do.

We are still building Forgelo. Features will change, and some will be added, altered, or removed. If we remove something you are paying for, and that materially reduces what you bought, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current term.

Plans, billing, and renewal

• Prices are shown on the Pricing page, in US dollars on our English pages and in rupiah on our Indonesian pages.
• Card payments and subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. That means your purchase of a paid plan is a sale by Lemon Squeezy, and their terms also apply to that transaction. QRIS and Indonesian payment methods are processed by Xendit.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Prices can change. If we raise the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
• Taxes, including VAT and Indonesian VAT where it applies, may be added on top of the listed price. The payment provider will show you the total before you pay.
• If a payment fails we will try again and email you. If it keeps failing, your account drops to the Free plan, and any sites over the Free plan's limit are unpublished until you sort the payment out. We do not delete your content for a missed payment.

Refunds and your right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. By starting to generate a site as soon as you subscribe, you are asking us to begin immediately, and you accept that once the service has been fully performed you lose that withdrawal right.

Beyond that, we will refund you within 14 days of a purchase if you have barely used the plan and you tell us it was not what you expected. Email us. We would rather refund you than argue with you.

We do not usually refund a period you have already used, but if something on our side went badly wrong, tell us and we will make it right.

Your content, and who owns it

You own your content: the prompts you write, the text and images you upload, your brand, and the sites you generate and publish.

You give us the permission we need to actually run the service, which means storing your content, sending it to our AI provider so a site can be generated, hosting it, and displaying it when someone visits your published site. That permission is limited to running Forgelo, it is worldwide and royalty free because the internet is, and it ends when you delete the content or the account.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including any text, photos, logos, and fonts. If you do not own it, do not upload it.

If you are on the Free plan, published sites carry a "Made with Forgelo" badge. Paid plans can remove it.

AI generated output

• As between you and us, the site content that Forgelo generates for you is yours to use, keep, modify, and publish, including commercially.
• AI output is not unique. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other people, and we cannot promise that what you get is original or that nobody else has anything like it.
• AI output can be wrong. It can invent facts, generate text that reads well but is inaccurate, or produce something that resembles someone else's protected work. Review anything before you publish it. You are responsible for what goes live on your site.
• Do not use Forgelo's output to make claims you cannot back up, particularly about health, money, or the law.

Acceptable use

There are things you may not build with Forgelo, including phishing pages, scams, malware, and content that infringes someone else's rights. The full list is in the Acceptable Use Policy, and breaking it is a breach of these terms. We may unpublish a site, suspend an account, or terminate it, and for the worst cases we will do it without warning.

Reporting abuse and copyright

If a site published through Forgelo infringes your copyright or trademark, or is being used to defraud people, report it to admin@mail.forgelo.com with the URL and enough detail for us to find the problem. We review reports, and we take down sites that break our rules. If we take down your site and you think we got it wrong, reply to us and we will look again.

Custom domains

If you connect a domain you own, it stays yours. You are responsible for registering it, renewing it, and pointing the DNS at us. If it expires, your site stops resolving, and there is nothing we can do about that from our side.

Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time from your settings. When you do, we delete your content on the schedule set out in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you go.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if you do not pay, or if we are required to by law. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Availability

We work to keep Forgelo up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not offer a service level agreement on any current plan. Things break, providers have outages, and we occasionally take the service down to ship changes.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, Forgelo is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement. Nothing in this section takes away rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost business, arising out of your use of Forgelo.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Forgelo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you published with Forgelo, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and damages from that claim. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in the defence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Forgelo after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel, and we will refund the unused part of your current term.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes go to the courts of Indonesia.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and it does not stop you from bringing a claim in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

Before anyone sues anyone, email us. Nearly everything can be sorted out that way.

The rest

• If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
• If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
• You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else without our consent. We may transfer it if Forgelo is sold or reorganised, and we will tell you if that happens.
• These terms, plus the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Forgelo.
